My sister's famous mac and cheese that brought families together. ive been having this make and cheese for multiple years now and it is my favorite version of any mac and cheese. Just the smell from the kitchen makes my mouth water.

- heat oven to 350°. coat baking dish with melted butter.
- boil a large pot of salted water. add 1 pound of dry elbow macaroni. cook for a couple minutes less than package directions.
- drain macaroni. melt 1 stick of butter in the same pot. Add flour and stir until it smells good and toasty
- put in 4 cups of whole milk and whisk until no lumps of flour left. Add cheese and stir until all of the cheese is melted
- add macaroni into the melted cheese and mix until evenly coated. Then add to baking dish. Put it into the oven.
- once cooked for a little sprinkle cheese on top. after 35 minutes change setting to broil cook until cheese on top is brown.
- take out carefully and enjoy. dont burn yourself!!!
